About the Artist

My work explores the nature of human perception, as the mind attempts to process an overwhelming volume of stimuli, and makes visible undercurrents of energy normally hidden, but ever present. To this end, I derive inspiration from the textile art of indigenous peoples from around the world, to render unique images in oil on canvas, and delve into the very fiber of being. Artists including Daryl Howard, Alex Grey, Chuck Close, and Bob Ross have inspired the course of my life and work.
